Industry Applications

Its 2 mm linear range and -9 Vdc recommended gap setting provide reliable data for predictive maintenance programs. The CSA/ATEX/IECEx approvals allow installation in Zone 0 and Zone 2 hazardous areas when paired with appropriate intrinsic safety barriers or non-incendive circuits.

Installation & Setup Guidance

Mount the probe with maximum thread engagement of 15 mm for the M10 x 1 thread. Use field wiring of 0.2 to 1.5 mm² (16 to 24 AWG) with a 3-conductor shielded triad cable. Maximum distance between the 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor and the monitor is 305 meters (1,000 feet). For radial vibration, set the gap to -9 Vdc (approximately 1.27 mm or 50 mils).

Maintenance & Reliability

Inspect the probe and cable periodically for physical damage. Avoid exposing the probe to temperatures below -34°C (-30°F) to prevent premature pressure seal failure. The probe is designed to seal differential pressure between tip and case using a Viton® O-ring. Contact AutoDCSTech for custom pressure testing requirements.

Compatibility & Integration

The 330103-00-04-05-02-05 works with Bently Nevada 3300 XL Proximitor Sensors and compatible monitoring systems. For intrinsically safe installations, use zener barriers per drawing 141092 or galvanic isolators. For non-incendive circuits, follow drawing 140979.

Selection Guide & Purchasing Advice

When selecting a proximity probe, confirm your required cable length, connector type, and agency approvals. The 330103-00-04-05-02-05 is a standard configuration with 0.5m cable and ClickLoc connector. Please verify current lifecycle status and availability with AutoDCSTech before ordering.
