21505-00-44-10-02: An 8 mm Probe with Stainless Steel Lead Armor
This probe sits in the 7200 proximity transducer family with a 4.4 in overall case and stainless steel lead armor. The lead armor is the distinguishing feature: it is the option for installations where the probe lead is exposed to abrasion — a rotating machine where the lead path is subject to contact, or a mount where the cable path is exposed to a work environment.
Decoded against the published configuration data: 21505 = 7200 proximity transducer system. 00 = unthreaded length 0 mm. 44 = overall case length 4.4 in. 10 = total length 1.0 metre (39 inches). 02 = miniature male coaxial connector.
Probe diameter is 8 mm with 3/8-24 configuration threads, calibrated range 80 mils (2.0 mm) and scale factor 200 mV/mil. Power requirement is -17.5 to -26 Vdc at 12 mA.

7200 Series Probe Configurations
Within the 7200 family the configurations differ in case length, tip diameter and lead protection. Lead armor in particular is not a cross-compatible option — it changes the connector end fit:

Why Lead Armor Is Specified Deliberately
Lead armor solves a specific failure mode: mechanical wear on the probe lead. In a machine where the lead is exposed to contact, vibration-driven motion against a fixed structure, or a harsh work environment, an unarmored lead is the element that fails first — and a lead failure inside a probe is not a field-replaceable repair.
Specifying armor on a machine where the lead is protected, or omitting it where the lead is exposed, are both mismatches. Confirm against the removed probe rather than defaulting to a preference.
